Lindsay Lohan attended the amfAR Milano Gala in Milan last night. I like the dress, although I’m not sure it’s what I would’ve chosen for her. She’s partying a lot at fashion weeks around the globe, it seems.
Lindsay has the type of figure that can wear a wide range of clothes, but this dress doesn’t seem to show her off to her best advantage. And the tanner is a bit too dark. However, Lindsay still looks good even when not at her best. Lucky girl!

Selena Gomez was spotted leaving a restaurant with both of her parents, Mandy Teefey and Ricardo Gomez (according to the photo agency), after the three had breakfast together. Selena’s parents are divorced, but things must be fairly amicable if they are hanging out together. Good for them!

Sarah Palin-Glen Rice Love Tryst Alleged in New Book

A new tell-all book about former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin claims she had a one-night stand with former NBA star Glen Rice way back in 1987.
Is that true? Does it matter? The answer to both is highly debatable. Is this the greatest rumor of all time? To that, we might have to answer yes.
At the time, she was single and working at a TV station as a sports reporter; Rice was a college basketball star visiting Alaska for a tournament.
Glen Rice scored 18,336 career points and won a title with the '00 Lakers. If he scored with Sarah Palin, he wins the title of Most Randomly Hysterical One-Night Stand.
Factual or not, Palin's alleged romantic encounter with Rice - some three years younger and then a junior in college - is causing serious, hilarious buzz.
Neither could not be reached for comment about the sexy fling, although Rice is said to have confirmed it to author Joe McGinniss. So ... yeah.
The hookup is said to have occurred after the '87 Great Alaska Shootout.
Glen was playing for the University of Michigan then. Palin apparently covered the event, only to be covered by Rice's naked body shortly thereafter.
Mere months later, in 1988, Palin eloped with high school sweetheart Todd Palin. The two are still married and have five children with strange names.
SIDE NOTE: Wonder how Bristol Palin and Kyle Massey feel about this.
In addition to the Rice rumor, Joe McGinniss' highly-anticipated book implies that Palin committed adultery with Brad Hanson, Todd's business partner.
It also says Sarah and Todd both snorted cocaine off an overturned 55-gallon oil drum during a snowmobile trip before she was governor. Awesome.

T.I. Clothing Line Sales: Off the Hook!

T.I.'s sex life may have been limited to hand relief during visiting hours, but his recent incarceration hasn't been all bad - it's actually great for business!
Sales for the rapper's clothing line, A.K.O.O. (A King Of One's Self) have skyrocketed while he's been behind bars, according to a rep for the brand.
The company's sales soared by 25 percent in the last year while the rapper served time for violating probation on a drug charge (later dismissed).
A.K.O.O. hadn't seen such a surge since T.I.'s MTV reality show Road to Redemption premiered in 2009. Maybe he needs to go to jail more often?
The rep says they're preparing for another spike in sales when T.I. is set free from his halfway house next week after completing his drug sentence.
He will be free September 26, following some major drama earlier this month - T.I. was yanked back to prison after he left on a pimp ass tour bus.
The lesson learned here: Crime doesn't pay, except when it does.

Kat Von D and Jesse James broke up. Again.
The troubled, tattooed couple has called it quits once again, calling off their engagement for the second time this year, Von D revealed on Facebook.
"I am not in a relationship. (And I apologize for all the "back and forth" if it's caused any confusion)," said the star of LA Ink, which TLC broke up with recently.
The duo called off their engagement in July, for reasons still not entirely clear, only to be back on again and planning a wedding a mere month later.
Now it's off again. As for why they separated, Von D tells People: "It just became clear to me that we were just on two different paths in life."
"My friend put it best ... I am deserving of total, noble love. And as a woman, I think it's important to know your value and never lose sight of that."
So basically ... Jesse fell short of providing that?
Sort of a cryptic comment, but that's all we've got.

Russell Armstrong: A History of Domestic Violence

The late Russell Armstrong had a history of domestic violence dating back long before his assault on estranged wife Taylor became public knowledge.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars' five-year-old daughter Kennedy never saw Russell attack Taylor Armstrong, however, a new report says.
Entertainment Tonight, who aired this Taylor Armstrong abuse photo and spoke with the reality star, made the revelation on its program Wednesday.
ET reported that six weeks before he hanged himself (or was murdered, according to some people), Russell sought to change his will, although he never did so.
The program also delved into Russell’s past violence towards women.
Armstrong had two separate restraining orders filed against by him, one by his ex-wife, and one by an ex-girlfriend, as well as a battery conviction in 1997.
Russell married Barbara Armstrong in 1997 and separated shortly after their son Aiden was born. She alleges he hit her while she was six months pregnant.
"Russell threw me to the ground and slapped me across the face," she said. "The police were called because Russell hit me, blackened my eyes, kicked me in the back, threw crystal drinking glasses at me, and spit on me."
Barbara also states in a sworn declaration that Russell "pleaded guilty to battery and said that he understood that he [needed] anger management. That was the first such program that Russell was ordered to attend."
Barbara divorced Russell, remarried and moved to Arizona, but Aiden continued to see his father every other weekend, flying to Los Angeles to do so.
On August 6, 2004, Barbara claims she was called by Russell's then-girlfriend, Claudia Haro, who told her she "Saw Russell slap Aiden across the face, very hard. This slap was so hard that Ms. Haro heard it across the room."
"Ms. Haro has seen and heard Russell slap Aiden's face on other occasions."
Barbara subsequently got a temporary restraining order against Russell and requested that an off-duty police officer monitor visitation with Aiden.
Haro also submitted a sworn declaration stating Russell hit her too.

Kim Kardashian Superstar will remain in the possession of Vivid Entertainment. For now at least.
An anonymous buyer - reportedly NOT Kim Kardashian or new husband Kris Humphries - had been interested in purchasing the entire reason this talentless individual is famous sex tape between Kim and Ray J and taking it off the market.
But Steve Hirsch, the CEO of Vivid, the company that owns the video, tells TMZ an offer of $20 million has been turned down.
We "have decided that we are going to hang on to it... for now," Hirsch says. "Although the offer that we ultimately received was substantial, when I realized that it wasn’t Kim it became less appealing. Kim is a superstar and if it were to be sold, it should be to her."
But then how would Kardashian whine about it every so often and pretend like she wasn't behind its initial sale all along? We don't see her purchasing the tape, only milking its existence for every last penny she can.

Mel Gibson Accused of Swindling, Trying to Run Over Costa Rican Guy

Mel Gibson is being accused of an attempted assault in Costa Rica, and remarkably, Oksana Grigorieva seems to have nothing to do with this story at all.
Nader Sharif claims Mel bilked him out of $200,000 by cajoling him into investing in a recycled rubber company. Obviously, who didn't see THAT coming?
Sharif filed a lawsuit in June, in which he also claims Mel Gibson tried to mow him down in July, after the two ran into each other at a Costa Rican bakery.
Mel Gibson accused of violence? Who'd have guessed!
Sharif says Mel got violent, calling him "vile and offensive names" and threatening him with physical harm if he didn't skip town - and it got worse yet.
Sharif alleges Mel stormed out of the bakery and got into his car, then "accelerated the car to a high rate of speed" and drove the car directly at him.
While giving him the finger, natch!
Sharif says he jumped out of the way and was unharmed, but the emotional scars linger. Of course, a witness who saw this says he's completely full of it.
The witness says Mel was trying to enjoy a "sweet pastry" and coffee, when Sharif walked in the bakery and tried to confront him about the matter.
Mel asked Sharif to leave, to no avail. Then Mel left and Sharif followed. The witness says at no time did Mel drive toward Sharif. So that's something.
Bottom line: Don't expect this to go anywhere, as it appears this Sharif dude is trying to take advantage of Mel, recycled rubber company be damned.

Has Bradley Cooper added another starlet to his recent string of hookups?
Probably not, but Life & Style "exclusively" reports that he cozied up to Scarlett Johansson at NYC hot spot Provocateur recently. The duo were hand in hand and "more than flirty" by the end of the night, according to sources!
The VIP couple tried to maintain a low profile, but that's a tall order.
Scarlett's rep says the two are "just friends and have been for years," but others say it seems Bradley has his eye on his He's Just Not That Into You co-star.
Of course, he's also been linked to Olivia Wilde recently, and just last week, Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lopez totally went on a date. So ... there you go.

It's as depressing as it is unsurprising: Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchinson will star in their own reality show.
The rumor that got started a soon as this 17-year old married this 51-year old is now a fact, confirmed this week by Courtney's attention-starved mother Krista. She tells Radar Online that her daughter and her creepy son-in-law have signed with Roy Bank, the president of Merv Griffin Entertainment.
"We are proud that we were able to find the perfect producer for our reality show and are thrilled to be working with this prestigious production company," Krista says, previewing the series to come by adding:
"They are going to be very, very open about their lives. They want everybody to see their life. Nothing is off limits."
We know, Krista. The couple made that obvious by getting married in the first place.

Michaele Salahi: Screwing Neal Schon, Herself Out of Divorce Settlement

Michaele Salahi must really enjoy being a rock groupie.
According to the prenuptial agreement between the former Real Housewives of D.C. star and husband Tareq, committing adultery automatically forfeits her right to any money or other property the couple jointly accumulated during their union.
The Salahis have been married eight years, and will almost certainly not reach nine after Michaele ran off with Neal Schon, the guitarist for Journey.
All indications are that Tareq Salahi will divorce her ASAP, and that by screwing Schon, Michaele has basically screwed herself out of any right to spousal support.
At least she was welcomed onto Journey's tour bus with "Open Arms." No, really, she's traveling with the band on its current tour, and watching backstage now.
Tareq, meanwhile, has been banned from Journey shows (really).
Fortunately for Michaele's financial future, Neal Schon is probably more loaded than Tareq. Unfortunately, rock stars tend to upgrade groupies frequently.
No word if Neal has his own prenup negotiated with Ava Fabian, the Playboy model he married TWO MONTHS AGO in Paris with the entire band present.

Justin Timberlake, Mila Kunis Deny Hacked Photo Rumors in Classic Statement

Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis are (quite good-naturedly) dismissing the recent rumors that they swapped sexually explicit texts, photos and emails.
Reps for the Friends with Benefits costars say the stories are "entirely false."
Thursday, reports surfaced that Kunis' phone was hacked and that a treasure trove of shocking pics was discovered, including one of Mila in the bathtub.
What raised eyebrows was the alleged pic Justin with panties on his head, and posing "seductively," along with a shot of some guy's junk. BS, they say.

Says a joint statement from their camps: "At no time did Mr. Timberlake and Ms. Kunis exchange inappropriate texts or emails. The insistence that there is any inappropriate correspondence between the two parties is entirely false."
"The photo addressed in the media of Ms. Kunis was in fact not from any phone but from an email account inactive for three years. Regarding the other photos in question, they were never exchanged between the two parties."
The joint statement concludes with this great kicker:
"In closing, Mr. Timberlake would like us to make it clear that while he might write songs about putting things in boxes, he never has and definitely doesn't make a habit of taking photos of them and sending them."
"Ms. Kunis would like us to add that while she is a fan of the song, she does not have nor has ever had photos of any male parts in her possession."

Casey Anthony Seeing Shrink, Grief Counselor

Her parents may still be divided over her guilt, but no one disputes that whatever happened in 2008, this is one seriously messed up individual.
Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, said she would seek psychological treatment as soon as she was a free woman. Looks like that was doubly true.
Sources close to Anthony says that the acquitted murder suspect has been seeing a grief counselor and will soon see a female psychiatrist to boot.
"She needs serious help," says the source. "We'll see what this will do."
Casey Anthony needs more than counseling. But it can't hurt.
Anthony has been traveling extensively since her acquittal, likely in an attempt to keep her whereabouts a mystery amid serious death threats. She is now back in Florida while she serves a one-year probation on a check fraud case.
Baez said that Anthony needed treatment for the trauma of losing her child and her subsequent incarceration for the better part of three years.
Yesterday, she was ordered to pay nearly $100,000 for misleading law enforcement officials in their efforts to locate missing daughter Caylee.

Her "emotional and physical issues" are well-documented, but rather than hide from them, the Disney starlet wants to be a role model because of them.

Demi Lovato, 19, who used to cut herself and who has battled eating disorders, taped an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show scheduled to air Tuesday.
She says she wants to be "outspoken" and freely talk about her "issues" because when she grew up, she "was dealing with the pressures to be thin."
"It was the time in the tabloids when very, very skinny girls were on the cover of every magazine, and that's what I was looking up to," she says.
"That's what I had to idolize. I don't want that for young girls."
While she calls her old life a "mess," right now, it is what it is.
In fact, at this point, she's actually grateful for her "meltdown."
"So many things were going great in my life, and then all of a sudden my personal life just went down at crazy speeds," the "Skyscraper" singer says.
"I had a negative breakdown and it changed my life forever."
"But if I hadn’t gone into treatment," she continues, "I don't know if, one, I'd even be sitting here today, [or] two, if I'd even be alive today."
We're so grateful that she is, and hope that young people can take what she says very seriously. It's good that she's up front about her past, don't you think?

Paul McCartney, Nancy Shevell to Wed Next Month?

Paul McCartney will wed fiancée Nancy Shevell at the same venue he married late wife Linda - Old Marylebone Town Hall, in London - it was revealed Friday.
The pair have posted a notice that they intend to get married there.
Earlier this week, the couple met with Superintendent Registrar Alison Cathcart, and the official notice - sometimes called banns - was made on Wednesday.
The actual wedding date has not been announced, but they may tie the knot as early as September 30, and there has been speculation they will wed in October.
Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell have been together since mid-2007.
The Beatles legend was married to the former Linda Eastman from 1969 until her death in 1998, then to Heather Mills in 2002 until their separation in 2006.

Sarah Palin's husband, Todd, denounced Joe McGinniss' new book about Alaska's most famous family as "disgusting lies, innuendo and smears" in a statement.
The former governor's camp is looking to discredit the biography - a racy, detailed, provocative tell-all, even as Palin gossip goes - which is due out next week.
Todd Palin slammed The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin, specifically denying that his business partner Brad Hanson had an affair with his wife.
The part about Glen Rice nailing Sarah Palin, sadly, went unmentioned by Todd.
Todd Palin wrote of McGinniss:
"This is a man who has been relentlessly stalking my family to the point of moving in next door to harass and spy on us to satisfy his creepy obsession with my wife."
"His book is full of disgusting lies, innuendo and smears. Even The New York Times called this book 'dated, petty,' and that it 'chases caustic, unsubstantiated gossip.'"
Hang on ... the Palins read The New York Times?
The 2008 GOP VP nominee has yet to comment. Last year, she wrote of McGinniss: "Wonder what kind of material he'll gather while overlooking Piper's bedroom, my little garden and the family's swimming hole?"
McGinniss, who rented the house next door to the Palins while writing the work, defended his reporting in an interview on the Today show.
"I think I was as fair as I could have been given the fact that she told all the people who were closest to her not to talk to me," he said.
Of all the claims he makes, the allegations that Sarah Palin carried on an affair with Brad Hanson have clearly ruffled the most feathers.
Hanson again denied the allegation in a statement:
"This is the same old story that went around in 2008. It is a complete and outright lie," Hanson said. "Todd and Sarah Palin have been good friends for many years, and in fact we still own property together."
"We sold a former joint business venture for business reasons, nothing more. These attacks are shameful and those making them seem to be out only to destroy good people and make money doing so."

Yes, Charlie Sheen will be killed off Two and a Half Men when that CBS sitcom kicks off season nine on Monday. But the actor himself remains alive. Somehow.
Still, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane has penned an obituary for the actor and he read it aloud during this weekend's taping of the Comedy Central Roast that will honor/tear apart the warlock of a star and air on the same night as the aforementioned premiere.

Farrah Abraham to Mom & Daughter: PEACE OUT!

Despite this proclamation, it appears the youngster did exactly that, leaving her daughter with her mother in Iowa while she "attends school" in Florida.
According to Life & Style, the reality star has been in Ft. Lauderdale for months, while her mother, Debra Danielson, is now Sophia's primary caregiver.
Was this move altruistic or purely selfish? Somewhere in the middle?
Farrah Abraham said this about her decision to leave Sophia:
"I want her [Sophia's grandmother] to be there for Sophia when I need to take care of my responsibilities, my education and earning an income for both of us."
Not that this wasn't a difficult decision. In fact, the 20-year-old admits, "I'm tugged in many different ways daily - but I don't want to limit myself or Sophia."

Their romance was marked by beach getaways, working out and the occasional douche-tastic sighting. But their careers were too big an obstacle.
"She's very busy with her career," the source says of Bad Teacher actress Diaz, 39. As for A-Rod? "He's had injuries and wants to focus on his game."
"They're both dedicated and they're both professionals."
Fair enough. So don't expect any sort of drama in the wake of their split. "They are still very friendly and like each other very much," the source says.

For reasons as confounding as the fame of Kim Kardashian, millions of people actually purchased "Sliding Into Home," making that memoir by Kendra Wilkinson a New York Times Bestseller... and prompting the former Girl Next Door to write another book.
It's titled "Cribs, Cocktails and Getting My Sexy Back" and it chronicles the sex life of Kendra and husband Hank Baskett.
"As parents, now we have to try to fit in sex whenever we can," Kendra writes, adding that she "wouldn't trade" her life as a mother "for anything in the world" and that she refuses to "buy into that whole belief that married couples don't have sex."
Incredibly, Kendra debuts season number-four on September 25.

Jessica Simpson Puts Wedding on Hold "Indefinitely"

Are Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson on the rocks? That's quite unclear, but the couple's wedding is on hold, at least for now, according to a new report.
Details of the ceremony, wedding dress she helped design and vows reportedly started to overwhelm her, causing friends to wonder if she got cold feet.
“It’s starting to affect her relationship with Eric,” says an insider.
“He’s a great guy who really loves her, but right now Jessica’s friends are worried that she may end up single again if she’s not able to make up her mind.”
“The wedding isn’t off,” insists one of her confidantes, who predicts they will still get married. “It’s just on hold while Jessica sorts out some of the details.”
Jessica insists she still loves the former NFL player. Eric surprised her by popping the question last November, after the couple dated for just six months.
As for Eric, “He just wants them to be happy,” says the confidante, who insists that, despite friends’ fears, Johnson is secure enough to wait to be married.
“Eric says they could elope tomorrow or get married in three years. It almost doesn’t matter; he is convinced they’ll spend the rest of their lives together.”
That's sweet and very mature if true, but this report doesn't bode well for their future if it's even remotely accurate. It's hardly the first story of its kind.
Ever since they got engaged, gossip has surfaced that they're not doing well. Other reasons recently rumored to put a wrench in the couple's wedding:

Scarlett Johansson is the latest celebrity to allegedly be targeted by a hacker with great taste in women.
The actress reportedly contacted the FBI this morning because nude photos she took of herself on her cell phone were stolen and leaked online. We'd love to publish them here, but we'd also love to not get sued.
Over the past few months, federal agents have taken action in other famous nude photo hacking situations, most notably scandals that involved Vanessa Hudgens and Jessica Alba.

Whatever you think of Lady Gaga, she stepped out of the famed Annie Leibovitz’s studio in NYC’s Meatpacking District dressed as a fashionable devil of sorts.
Was that what she was going for? Who the heck knows. It's Lady Gaga. But she was looking more than a little devilish in her latest over-the-top ensemble.
Those shoes and shades defy description ...
If loving Lady Gaga were wrong, we would sin every day.
As always, the singer posed for the paparazzi at length (she couldn't exactly run fast) and greeted some adoring little monsters who clamored for her attention.
Hopefully, she didn't give them a glimpse of anything too inappropriate. She's about 6'9" in those things ... and does that slit in her "dress" go all the way up?!

Casey Anthony Parents: Divided Over Her Guilt

George and Cindy Anthony are split over the innocence (or lack thereof) of their estranged daughter Casey Anthony, according to Dr. Phil McGraw.
"[George] is very critical," the TV psychologist said, while Cindy makes excuses for her daughter at every opportunity and lives in a state of denial.
Neither of Casey's parents have spoken to the 25-year-old since she was stunningly acquitted of murdering toddler Cayley Anthony back in July.
In an interview airing today and tomorrow, the Anthonys are speaking out on the death of their granddaughter and the public trial that followed.
Casey's defense lawyers claimed Caylee drowned accidentally and George tried to hide the child's body, having molested Casey as a child no less.
Both deny anything of the sort, but at the same time, Dr. Phil said Cindy and George "have a different view [of whether Casey murdered Caylee]."
"They question themselves every minute of every day," McGraw said. "What did we fail to see here? What could we have done differently?"
He adds that "Their position is up until [Casey's] pregnancy, she was showing reasonably normal behavior and then it began to change."

Did Ryan O'Neal Bail on Dancing With the Stars Because Nancy Grace Sucks?

Ryan O'Neal was all but confirmed to appear on Dancing With the Stars this season ... until he wasn't. The reason, sources say, is his disdain for Nancy Grace.
Sources close to the Ryan say he was set to do the show but pulled out late when he learned Grace would be a part of the Dancing With the Stars cast.
The actor is steamed about Grace's recent harsh words for his son Redmond O'Neal, who has drug problems, and for suggesting Ryan is a bad parent.
For her part, Grace is perplexed that O'Neal dropped out of her, telling TMZ, she never said anything bad about him ... even loosely or tangentially.
"We have never covered Mr. O'Neal nor his family on our show," the pundit said, adding that, "I hate that he dropped out of Dancing With the Stars."
"I would have loved to compete with him and wish him the very best."
Grace says she considers O'Neal to be one of the great actors of our time and she finds his relationship with Farrrah Fawcett "an inspiration to me."
Well, somebody's clearly not telling the truth here.

T.I. Legal Challenge Negged By Prison Officials

Looks like T.I. is stuck in prison, at least for now.
Prison officials in Atlanta put the kibosh on the legal challenge to the decision to yank the rap star back to prison immediately following his Aug. 31 release.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons told T.I.'s lawyer he was "not entitled to legal counsel" in the process by which officials review the decision to lock him up.
Authorities remanded him into federal custody for failing to disclose that his trip to a halfway house would be on a pimp ass tour bus with cameras in tow.
T.I., wife Tameka Cottle and even the halfway house officials insist he did nothing wrong, but the prison officials have refused to budge on this matter.
T.I.'s attorney originally sent the Bureau a letter last week, asking to be present at the hearings that would decide his client's fate. He was turned down.
Two hearings have already occurred without T.I.'s lawyer present, one last week and one the week before. It's unclear what transpired at either meeting.
For now, however, he remains locked up, though his sentence is set to expire in October, so before long, he should be free to roll out - tour bus and all.

Jennifer Aniston's mother, Nancy Dow, has suffered a serious stroke.
The actress, 42, visited her ailing mother, 75, at an L.A.-area hospital on Friday. At her side for the ordeal was live-in boyfriend, Justin Theroux.
"Justin has been very supportive and there with her all the way," a source tells Us, adding that clearly, "It's a very hard time for her right now."
Aniston's rep said only that "this is a private family matter."
Fans of the star may recall that she and Dow were estranged for a decade after Dow spoke out about their relationship in a 1996 interview and wrote about Aniston in a book, From Mother and Daughter to Friends: A Memoir.
They have since reconciled. Here's wishing both the best ...

Kate Gosselin WILL be back on TV.
The reality star and perennial contender for Worst Person in America made this abundantly clear this morning, mere hours before Kate Plus 8 airs its last episode.
Even Jon Gosselin has a clue these days and recently told Kate to get a life - as in a normal life - but she told Today's Matt Lauer that her concerns lie elsewhere.
Kate hilariously/depressingly expressed concern for her show's "devastated" fans whom she says must feel like they are losing their next-door neighbor.
While "there is some relief," she said, "there is sadness, because it's the end of an era." An era where she must now worry about her children, she says.
Regarding her ex-husband's advice to scale back, Kate countered, "Jon may be accepting of mediocre for his kids ... I only want the best for my kids."

As for how and when she plans to return to TV, she didn't have a specific show in mind, saying "It would have to be the right one." But rest assured:

SpongeBob Study: Cartoon Hero May Cause Learning Disabilities!

SpongeBob SquarePants is in some hot water.
The cartoon character is at the center of a study suggesting that watching just nine minutes of that program can cause attention and learning problems.
The study took 60 four-year-olds and randomly assigned them to watch SpongeBob or the slower-paced PBS cartoon Caillou, or had them draw pictures.
Right after the nine-minute assignments, the kids took mental function tests; those who had watched SpongeBob did measurably worse than the others.
Should parents soak up this new study's facts about SpongeBob?
Previous research linked TV-watching with long-term attention problems, but the new study suggests problems can also occur after very little exposure.
Kids' cartoon shows typically feature about 22 minutes of action, so watching a full program "could be more detrimental," the researchers speculated.
The results should be interpreted cautiously because of the study's small size, but the data bolster the idea that media exposure is a public health issue.
Fortunately, no studies were done in which they had to watch Kim Kardashian and her siblings on Keeping Up. Talk about scarring the kiddos for life.
